Roto NT with steel hooks

Roto now offers even more security for their NT system. For the first time ever, a hook made of tempered steel can be integrated in Tilt&Turn window and door hardware.

At the BAU 2005 in Munich, the Roto NT hook innovation was presented for the first time. It can be perfectly integrated into the modular NT system and can be used in both timber and PVC windows.

The hooks meet the highest safety requirements

By means of coupleable centre locks with tempered steel hooks, Roto NT brings a completely new dimension to the world of Tilt&Turn. The combination guarantees highest safety requirements and meets the burglary-resistance grade 2 standard (“WK2”).

The key factor is that the tempered steel hooks mounted on the window completely engage behind the steel striker in the window frame.

This mechanism has already been used very successfully for a long time in many main doors. However, according to the Criminal Investigation Department statistics, main doors are not the weak spot; most apartment and house break-ins are carried out via the terrace/balcony- door or ground floor windows.
