Roto Group is "weatherproof"

Roto Frank Group announced their results for 2009. Despite the worldwide financial crisis, the global window and door hardware manufacturer and leader in the tilt/turn segment, managed to gain market share and remain profitable, despite a 10% decline in sales. Total Sales finished at $784 Million (560 Mil. Euros).

Increase in market share was achieved primarily through new customer acquisition and the remaining profitability through an effective cost management program.

"The consistent course of diversification and internationalization is correct and without alternatives," states Dr. Keill, Chairman of the Group. In the mid-and long-term he believes that windows will benefit incrementally from the climate initiatives and energy saving programs world-wide.

“The market crisis has of course not passed Roto Frank of America by,” states Chris Dimou, CEO/President of Roto Frank’s North American division. “However, we did not just sit down, waiting for a market rebound. “Rather, we developed a new strategic plan for North America and prepared the ground for a Customer Centric market approach. As part of the new strategic plan, we have implemented a "hybrid" sales structure through the employment of Direct and Independent sales personnel that will enable Roto Frank of America to double our sales personnel in the field. This maneuver will allow for a higher concentration of sales activity with our customers throughout the U.S. and Canada."
