Roto Frank of America re-introduces itself at Glass Build America

CHESTER, CT – "The many high-quality customer meetings brought us important course settings for the coming months", is the conclusion of Greg Koch, General Manager of Roto Frank of America, after the Glass Build America exhibition that took place during September in Las Vegas. The expected number of visitors predicted by the exhibition company before the exhibition began - 8,000 fabricators from the window and door industry = had to be corrected on completion of the exhibition to 9,000 - an increase in interested trade visitors that Roto Frank also noticed.

The Glass Build America Show takes place each year, alternating between Atlanta and Las Vegas. Atlanta is traditionally the slightly stronger exhibition location and attracts more visitors. "It was therefore all the more pleasing that this year's industry meeting in Las Vegas attracted around as many visitors as the trade fair in Atlanta last year. We see this as an indication that the industry is looking for new products, innovation and cultural change to create the slight advantage that every customer is constantly looking for", said Greg Koch.

'X-Drive' creates large interest

Glass Build America is exclusively aimed at window and door manufacturers, to whom Roto Frank presented, among others, the new 'X-Drive' hardware solution for casement windows. "The exhibition was an important element in our marketing plan for the introduction of this new product and has provided us with the necessary impetus for the coming months. The reactions of the stand visitors were consistently positive and we could already register the first concrete orders."

More customers, more capacities

One of the concrete orders comes for example from one of the largest window fabricators for 'Outward Opening' products in America. They are currently developing new window ranges based on the 'X-Drive' and therefore rely on the competence of the Roto Frank experts. "Our new partner wants to present its new casement products, operated by 'X-Drive', at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida, at the beginning of 2007. For us, this will launch 'X-Drive' into the market mainstream and is seen as such an important appearance that we will support it with our own additional marketing measures."

Roto Frank of America can, in the meantime, build on high-output market partners for other product ranges: Another one of the largest window and door manufacturers in America is currently developing a new sliding door system and with this is putting their trust in Patio Life. The increase demand for "Made by Roto Frank" products also affects the production side of things. "Contingent on the growing trust of our customers and the new contracts we win with the help of 'X-Drive', we are ready to expand our production plant in Chester. We have already made progress toward our goal to double production capacity in 2007."
